The Phoebus GEVS300AL is a versatile vertical and horizontal milling machine designed to meet a wide range of machining requirements in mechanical workshops, toolrooms, and maintenance departments. Thanks to its dual configuration, the machine allows both vertical and horizontal milling operations, greatly expanding its range of applications.

The machine is built with a robust mechanical cast iron structure, ensuring high rigidity and stability during machining. The square sliding guideways are hardened and precision ground, providing smooth movements, durability, and excellent machining accuracy.

All sliding components are lubricated through a hydraulic lubrication system, guaranteeing proper lubrication of moving parts and extending the machine’s service life.

The milling head features continuous spindle speed variation controlled by an inverter, allowing precise adjustment of spindle speed according to the machining requirements. The head can also rotate, making it possible to perform inclined drilling and boring operations.

In addition to the vertical head, the machine is equipped with a horizontal spindle, enabling a wide range of milling operations and making the machine suitable for complex machining tasks that require different machining orientations.

The longitudinal (X) and cross (Y) axis feeds are driven by motors with Yaskawa inverter control, allowing adjustable feed rates through a handwheel to fully utilize the variable feed capability. The X and Y axis feed screws are ball screws, eliminating backlash and improving positioning accuracy compared to traditional lead screws. The Z axis vertical feed uses a trapezoidal screw, providing strong and reliable vertical movement.

With X axis travel of 1200 mm, Y axis travel of 393 mm, and Z axis travel of 535 mm, the Phoebus GEVS300AL offers a generous working envelope suitable for machining medium-sized mechanical components. The ISO 40 spindle taper ensures compatibility with a wide range of standard tooling.
