The Ken Machine Center Giant Series is a large portal type 5-axis machining center designed for high precision machining of very large and complex components. Thanks to its advanced structural design and powerful milling head, the machine offers high rigidity, precision, and productivity for heavy-duty machining applications.
The machine features a moving column with mobile crossbeam structure, providing a very spacious working area and excellent flexibility for machining large workpieces. The W-axis crossbeam movement allows the crossbeam to move vertically, improving accessibility to the workpiece and optimizing machining capability for parts of different heights.
To guarantee high positioning accuracy and dynamic performance, the machine is equipped with a dual electronic servo preload rack and pinion drive system, ensuring smooth axis movements and reliable performance even on very large axes.
The machining center is fitted with a European high-torque mechanical transmission milling head, designed to handle demanding machining operations. The spindle delivers up to 1,200 Nm of torque, making the machine suitable for both high-speed machining and heavy cutting operations on tough materials.
Thanks to its 5-axis machining capability, the Giant Series allows the machining of complex geometries in a single setup, reducing machining time and improving overall productivity.
