The Focaseiki VMC-860 APC is a high-performance vertical machining center designed for precision milling and high-volume production. Featuring a twin automatic pallet changer (APC), it enables zero downtime during loading and unloading, ideal for continuous operations and multi-shift production environments.
With travels of 860 mm (X-axis), 560 mm (Y-axis), and 600 mm (Z-axis), the VMC-860 APC provides a large working envelope for medium-to-large components. Its fully enclosed design ensures safety and prevents chip or coolant leakage, while the extra-width base (1.3 m) improves stability and reduces vibrations during heavy cutting.
The machine includes an additional control panel on the tool magazine for easy tool handling, hydraulic clamping on the APC, and an independent pneumatic reservoir for the automatic tool changer (ATC). The hydraulic rotating pallet exchange completes in just 7 ±1 seconds, maximizing productivity. A chip conveyor efficiently removes chips, and the robust construction supports heavier loads for high stability.
