The Focaseiki VMC-1100 APC is a high-performance vertical machining center engineered for precision milling and high-volume production. Its twin automatic pallet changer (APC) system enables zero downtime for loading and unloading, making it ideal for continuous operations and multi-shift production environments.
With travels of 1100 mm (X-axis), 560 mm (Y-axis), and 600 mm (Z-axis), the VMC-1100 APC provides a spacious working envelope for medium-to-large components. Its fully enclosed design ensures operator safety and prevents chip or coolant leakage. The extra-width base (1.3 m) combined with eight leveling bolts, including one near the Y-axis track, guarantees high stability and prevents structural deformation during heavy cutting operations.
The machine is equipped with roller-type linear guideways on X, Y, and Z axes, ensuring smooth motion and high positioning accuracy. Advanced calibration features, including ball bar testing, spindle laser calibrating, and dynamic balancing, allow precise setup and reliable long-term performance. An additional control panel on the tool magazine facilitates easy tool loading and unloading.
