The Travis M-8 is a heavy duty boring and milling machine designed for precision machining of medium and large mechanical components. The machine structure is made of solid cast iron, ensuring high rigidity and effective vibration absorption during demanding machining operations. The sliding guideways are integrated directly into the cast iron frame, induction hardened to increase durability and coated with Turcite antifriction material, providing smooth movements, reduced friction, and long service life.

The ISO 40 spindle taper ensures compatibility with a wide range of standard milling and boring tools, allowing flexibility in different machining applications.

The machine is equipped with the Fagor 8055 MC CNC control, a reliable and user-friendly system that provides precise control of milling and boring operations, improving productivity and machining accuracy.
