Floor Type Moving Column Milling Boring Machine MTE FBF X 10000

The MTE FBF X 10000 is a moving column milling and boring machine designed for machining very large and tall workpieces, combining high rigidity, precision, and structural stability. The machine is particularly suitable for heavy-duty operations in industries requiring large working volumes and flexible machining configurations.

The structure is built with reinforced Meehanite cast iron, ensuring excellent vibration damping and long-term mechanical stability. The moving column slides on linear guideways with preloaded roller packs, providing smooth and accurate movements even under heavy loads.

The longitudinal X-axis movement is driven by a gear reducer with double pinion and double motor, ensuring powerful and precise motion along the extended travel. The RAM sliding system combines roller guideways and square guides with anti-friction material, guaranteeing rigidity and precision during demanding machining operations.

The machine can be equipped with several types of automatic heads, including indexed heads, millesimal heads, continuous heads, and high-performance electrospindles, offering maximum versatility for complex machining processes.

The tool magazine, available with 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 positions, supports horizontal or vertical automatic tool change, while an automatic head magazine allows fast head changes to adapt to different machining requirements.

The through-tool coolant system (DIN 69871B ISO 50) improves cutting performance and tool life during heavy machining operations.

Thanks to its large axis travels and robust construction, the FBF X 10000 is ideal for machining very large mechanical structures and oversized components.
