Floor Type Milling Boring Machine FBF-S 8000

The FBF-S 8000 is a floor type milling and boring machine designed for machining large and heavy components with high precision and structural rigidity. The moving column configuration allows the machine to handle long workpieces efficiently while maintaining stability and accuracy during demanding machining operations.

The machine features linear guideways with preloaded roller packs on the main axes, ensuring smooth motion, high load capacity, and long-term reliability. The longitudinal X-axis movement is driven by a rack-and-pinion system with double motor, providing powerful and stable movement across the extended travel.

Both the vertical headstock and the cross traverse RAM slide on linear guideways with preloaded roller packs, ensuring excellent rigidity and precision during heavy milling and boring operations.

The machine is equipped with an automatic indexing head with 2.5° positioning, offering spindle speeds of 4,000 or 6,000 rpm for versatile machining. A random tool magazine with 24 or 30 positions allows efficient tool management, while the through-tool coolant system (DIN 69871B ISO 50) improves cutting performance and tool life.

The robust cast iron structure ensures high mechanical stability and precision, and the machine is available in several configurations to adapt to different production requirements.
