Floor Type Milling Boring Machine FBF-S 4000
The FBF-S 4000 is a floor type milling and boring machine designed for machining medium to large-sized components requiring high rigidity, precision, and stability. The moving column structure allows efficient machining of large workpieces while maintaining excellent dynamic performance and accuracy.
The machine uses linear guideways with preloaded roller packs on the main axes, ensuring smooth movement, high load capacity, and long-term precision. The longitudinal movement is driven by a rack-and-pinion system with double motor, guaranteeing powerful and stable motion even on long travels.
The vertical headstock and cross RAM also slide on linear ways with preloaded roller packs, providing excellent rigidity during heavy milling and boring operations. The machine can be equipped with an automatic indexing head with 2.5° positioning, offering spindle speeds up to 4,000 or 6,000 rpm for versatile machining.
An automatic tool magazine with 40 / 60 / 80 positions and coolant through the tool (DIN 69871B) increases productivity and efficiency in complex machining cycles.
