Floor Type Milling Boring Machine FBF-M 12000

The FBF-M 12000 is a large floor type milling and boring machine designed for machining very long and heavy components requiring high rigidity, precision, and operational reliability. Thanks to its moving column configuration, the machine allows efficient machining of large workpieces while maintaining structural stability during demanding machining operations.

The machine uses linear guideways with preloaded roller packs, ensuring smooth movements, high load capacity, and excellent positioning accuracy across all axes. The longitudinal X-axis movement is driven by a rack and pinion system with double motor, providing powerful and stable motion along the extended travel.

Both the vertical headstock and the cross traverse RAM slide on linear ways with preloaded roller packs, ensuring rigidity and precision during heavy milling, boring, and drilling operations.

The machine can be equipped with manual or automatic heads, allowing it to adapt to different machining requirements and complex operations. A vertical/horizontal chain-type tool magazine with 40 / 60 / 80 positions ensures efficient automatic tool management during long machining cycles.

The through-tool coolant system (DIN 69871B ISO 50) improves cutting performance, chip evacuation, and tool life during heavy-duty machining processes.

With its large travels and robust mechanical structure, the FBF-M 12000 is suitable for machining very large structural parts and heavy mechanical components.
