The Phoebus VST 300L is a bed type vertical milling machine designed for precision machining, toolroom applications, and small to medium mechanical components. The structure features square, hardened and precision ground sliding guideways, providing high rigidity and smooth axis movements. The machine is equipped with precision ballscrews on the X, Y, and Z axes, ensuring accurate positioning and repeatability during machining operations.
The ISO 40 spindle taper allows compatibility with a wide range of milling tools, while the inverter fast head enables variable spindle speeds for different machining requirements.
To improve productivity and ease of use, the machine includes a quick pneumatic drawbar for rapid tool clamping, reducing tool change time. An automatic centralized lubrication system ensures proper lubrication of moving components, reducing wear and maintenance requirements.
The machine is equipped with original Yaskawa servomotors and drives on the X, Y, and Z axes, ensuring precise motion control and making the Z axis a fully controlled working axis, improving machining accuracy and dynamic performance.
The coolant tank for chip evacuation helps maintain clean machining conditions, while the machine can optionally be equipped with a perimeter enclosure with chip collection tank and front doors, improving safety and coolant containment.
