The Phoebus ST 1200 is a bed type vertical milling machine with fixed head, designed for precision machining and reliable production of mechanical components. Its solid mechanical design and high-quality components ensure excellent rigidity, accuracy, and long-term durability.
The machine is equipped with square hardened and precision ground sliding guideways with “V” profile, providing high stability and smooth movement during machining operations. Precision ballscrews on the X, Y, and Z axes guarantee accurate positioning and repeatability, making the machine suitable for demanding milling tasks.
The fixed head configuration ensures strong structural rigidity, particularly beneficial during heavy cutting operations. The quick pneumatic drawbar system allows rapid and efficient tool clamping, reducing setup times and improving productivity.
